A great discovery in Lavaur. A warm and well decorated room (we loved the hanging green plants). We had a great time, the dessert was very surprising (wow pepper and chocolate combo). The server very nice. We had a great time!

l'oeuf de coq is a real little gem in the town of Lavaur. The lively and warm atmosphere of the restaurant makes it the perfect place to let yourself be carried away by the chef's cuisine, modern, elegant and very inventive. The chef pays particular attention to mixing textures and flavors to make your meal a true sensory experience. To start again without hesitation.

A very nice but initially inconspicuous restaurant.
We were recommended the restaurant and went there for lunch. It's very inconspicuous and we tried to get a table without a reservation. The waiter, who was extremely friendly, assured us of a seat and we were able to choose our table.
The lunch menu, including starter, main course and dessert, costs 28 euros per person. There were two starters to choose from, three main courses, one each with meat, one with fish and one vegetarian, and two desserts to choose from.
The waiter picked out an excellent wine for the two of us after we placed our orders.
The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and exudes a certain calm.
The food was beyond excellent and you could taste the attention to detail in every course. But the chef's passion for his guests was also shown when the chef himself served his desserts at individual tables.
A wonderful recommendation for anyone who has a heart for southwest French cuisine. If you would like to visit the restaurant spontaneously, you should definitely try it at lunchtime.
