L'Olympe Cafe sur Hauteluce

I'm very surprised by the negative comments. We regularly have lunch at this establishment when we're in Les Saisies. The service is always excellent. We had the set menu of the day: filet mignon with two mustards. The portions were generous and piping hot. There was no wait to be served. The young waiter was very responsive, friendly, and attentive. We'll gladly return.

Everything was great from the moment we arrived. Nothing to complain about except that it was good and well served.

We came as a group of 16. The meal was very good and well served, it's a shame the bill was so high and the €10 service charge is outrageous. I used to prefer it with the waitress... and then, barely finished, you have to leave... what a shame.

The prices seemed excessive to me, and the mushroom fondue was only average with too much wine. The service was good and quick.

The food was disappointing. The waiter was very kind and friendly.

Table reserved on a weekday evening. The prices are high, but on par with some mountain restaurants, with the added bonus of superior quality! (Expect to pay at least €25-30 per course) I ordered the butcher's cut (a 260g beef sirloin steak, as listed on the menu), which was enormous. Superbly cooked, crispy on the outside and rare on the inside – a real treat. The side of fresh cooked vegetables and the Reblochon cream sauce were also very good. Only the fries weren't homemade. The steak tartare ordered by other colleagues at my table was a big hit. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but the setting is pleasant. When it came time to pay, we were asked (by the owner, I assume?) to stand to the side and count the price of each course ourselves so we could split the bill, instead of doing it directly on the tablet as is usually done in other restaurants. It didn't spoil the evening, but it was a bit of a surprise. The servers are very friendly, good luck for the season!
