L'Orangerie sur Chenonceaux

Havre de paix au milieux des jardins, c est vraiment agréable de déjeuner dans cet endroit si élégant. Acceuil professionnel et souriant. Malgré un manque de personnel nous avons été très bien reçu. Pris le brunch ( merci les commentaires des autres internautes 😉) Plateau copieux, avec petit beurre demi sel pour la charcuterie, confiture cerise pour le fromage. Bon rapport qualité/ prix.

Very surprised by some comments. We loved this restaurant, the food is excellent, the setting is magnificent and the waiters/waitresses are very kind and efficient. We highly recommend it!

It's really very pretty with its friendly decor and this magnificent view but I find that the cuisine unfortunately remains bland and the portions are small.

Good meals but arrived cold for the main course, very good dessert. However, the service is truly terrible. The waitress at our table #15 was in no way professional. She gets agitated, takes the orders way too late, we waited 1 hour to get the dish. In addition, we see her get angry and even blow when arriving customers ask for a table. We told her that the dish was cold, she was very defensive, saying "it's not me, it's the kitchen, I'll tell them". However, I think that it is not the kitchen which is responsible for its lack of organization and above all friendliness!!! There were two other waitresses who, despite the rush, were quite pleasant. For payment we preferred to go through one of them. Fortunately you are here ladies....

What a beautiful location! We were surprised that the prices weren't higher, given the proximity to the chateau and the great ambiance of the restaurant. I tried the 5 cheese platter, and my girlfriend had the smoked salmon. The portion sizes were a little bit small, but the food was very delicious. I don't typically eat cheese, but this restaurant did an excellent job and the selection was great.

Lovely restaurant on the grounds of Château de Chenonceau. Upon entering the restaurant, you leave the mass tourism of the château behind and step into a beautiful restaurant. We had a three course menu, a glass of wine and a coffee. Prices are a bit higher than similar restaurants in the region, but this is to be expected from a restaurant within the ticketed area of a museum.

Magical decor, fresh and excellent food, adorable service. Of course, at rush hour, a 5th person would be nice (especially for them, we are on vacation and a little break is finally welcome in the middle of all these visits) but the 4 people at the service have a smile, a little kind word for everyone... Great. A very big thank you. I recommend.

We came on August 15, you could say that the two who manage the reception are drowning in a glass of water and I don't like having that feeling of being disturbed when I arrive somewhere. This restaurant closes its doors at 2:30 p.m.... On August 15th packed with people...

Restaurant probably better than the Snack du château, but although it was not a very busy day, the service was not good. We actually hadn't booked, but when we arrived and asked for 2 people we were simply told "there are no more places..." But if we insisted a little, we only had to wait around fifteen minutes to get a table. The dishes were basic but OK. Although in my opinion the sorrisis were overcooked. However, for a tourist site restaurant, it is still quite correct because we have already seen worse.

Très bel endroit pour une pause déjeuner après la visite du château. Service soigné, cadre très agréable, les plats sont simples mais très bon. En dessert nous avons pris la crème brûlée verveine citron : un régal 😊
