It's a lovely place, I've been here twice. It was comfortable off-season, not crowded. During peak season, we waited in line for 20 minutes and then barely found a place to sit down and grab a bite, so you need to plan your time for that, too.

A rather mixed experience, quite disappointed. The place is pleasant, the food is decent but nothing special, but the cocktail was too sweet and really ruined the flavor. There was a glaring lack of staff, overwhelmed most of the time, even though it was peak season, and the wait between courses was far too long.
In short, I'll avoid it in the future.

The experience is quite decent in that the location is truly magnificent; however, the prices are exorbitant for something of this quality.
I think that considering the price of the entrance ticket to see the castle, and therefore to enter this restaurant, it makes for an extremely expensive day to eat there.
For example, the lunchtime sandwiches at the nearby restaurant are €16.50, which is ridiculously expensive, and the set menus in the restaurant are pricey.

The setting is magnificent and the cuisine is exquisite. Moreover, the staff is very accommodating; the chef had forgotten to add an ingredient to our asparagus soup, and not only did he return with the missing ingredient, but he also offered a generous slice of foie gras to all the guests – a perfect gesture! You really couldn't ask for better. I highly recommend both the warm welcome and the chef's delicious dishes.
