A Sunday family meal at this traditional and efficient restaurant with reasonably priced set menus considering the quality and quantity of the dishes. One minor drawback: some of the potatoes were undercooked. The service was efficient, even though the restaurant was overcrowded with very large tables in the various dining rooms. Last Sunday, we had the pleasure of lunching at L'Orée de la Forêt, in the charming and peaceful village of Ver-sur-Launette. We hadn't made a reservation, and despite arriving around 12:45 pm, we were greeted with great kindness and professionalism. The restaurant is a true haven of peace, secluded from view, with sumptuous, refined, and charming decor. The service was particularly pleasant throughout the meal. As for the food: excellent from start to finish. We didn't order wine as we had a long drive back to Savigny-sur-Orge, but this gourmet stop was a delightful interlude before our journey home. An address we will remember with great pleasure and highly recommend.

Discovered this restaurant this weekend, thanks to an article in the Courrier Picard. A charming restaurant in the heart of the village with parking right across the street. A very warm welcome, a family-run establishment, excellent service, and delicious food—just the right amount. Lunch there offered a welcome respite from time, reminiscent of childhood family meals. A Proustian madeleine. A place to discover and return to.

Decent value for money. Generous portions. Most of the dishes lacked flavor, the bread was tasteless, and the iced kugelhopf was disappointing!

For an eightieth anniversary 🎂 we couldn't resist a big surprise to welcome our guests... A very cozy and stylish place not far from the Ermenonville forest (the Sea of ​​Sand). The restaurant in Ver-sur-Launette has several small seating areas, and then a large room at the back for events (baptisms, engagements, communions, etc.). The food is delicious and, above all, well prepared.
