L'Oree des Charmes sur Blaisy-Bas

A very nice hotel, not too far from Dijon but in the countryside. The young couple who own the hotel are incredibly kind. The new decor is lovely. The rooms are functional (we had a connecting family room), nothing more, but very clean (the most important thing!). There was a bit of dampness in the bathroom, however, and a slight odor coming from the air conditioning/heating (?) which needs addressing as it was a little unpleasant when entering the rooms. But this remains the only negative point, as we were perfectly welcomed (despite a late arrival). A wonderful meal awaited us at the Evydence restaurant. The food was very good and the service excellent. The ingredients are of high quality and, above all, locally sourced. We then had a good night's sleep on comfortable bedding (a little firm for my taste, but that's subjective). Breakfast was good (with truly exceptional bread!). There isn't a huge selection, though (perhaps some fresh fruit would be nice?), but given the price of breakfast and the excellent quality of the products, especially since they're locally sourced, it's certainly more than adequate. In short, there might still be a few minor improvements to be made to the rooms, but keep up the good work, Yann and Charlene, you're on the right track to success. Go without hesitation and support these young entrepreneurs!

Excellent place, the food is divine and very reasonably priced. We're so glad to have a place like this in our remote countryside. Well done to the whole team!

Booked for two nights during a family gathering at the Blaisy-Bas village hall... The room was cozy, incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean, we couldn't have asked for better... The welcome and breakfast were top-notch, I recommend it 200%... Now we just have to try the restaurant, that shouldn't be long!

Excellent and refined cuisine, a talented chef who has given classic Burgundian dishes a personal and flavorful touch through surprising and unexpected combinations… a menu that is concise in the number of courses offered but guarantees quality, homemade dishes, and a focus on subtle flavors. A superb discovery! The cuisine is simply exceptional, worthy of a gourmet restaurant—refined, flavorful, and beautifully presented dishes. 👨‍🍳✨ The young couple who recently took over the establishment are full of energy and passion, and it's felt as much in the food as in the atmosphere. Regarding the room, the bathroom heater is outdated and only heats for a limited time, at an extreme temperature, which is too hot or too cold if you don't set it. The air conditioning is outdated and noisy, but it works. The shower is outdated; the door doesn't close completely, and there's peeling paint on the ceiling. The television is small and the channels are blocked. The minimalist breakfast included coffee, orange juice, two croissants, a few slices of bread, good jam, and a good homemade croissant. Charlène gave us a warm welcome, contacting us about the restaurant reservation.
