The service is quick and efficient, without any unnecessary pressure. The owner welcomes you as if you were returning for the tenth time. The cook comes by too. It makes all the difference. Baked egg for a starter. Lamb shoulder for the main course. Almond tart for dessert. Nothing to change. The cooking is perfect. The seasonings are spot-on. You can tell it's a carefully crafted dish, not just a mechanical execution. The almond tart deserves special mention. Simple on paper. Perfect on the plate. The highlight is twofold: the taste and the welcome. It's rare to find both at this level. An address to remember without hesitation.

Dans ce bourg tranquille, ce jeune couple d'origine lyonnaise, est venu là avec l'amour des plats mitonnés et la cuisine élaborée. Le menu, complet, diététique et cuisiné avec savoir, satisfera un gourmet (en saison:délicieuses sauces aux champignons); tout est maison. Le service est assuré et courtois. Le parking se fera à l'entour, voire sur la placette attenante.

A wonderful experience: it's so rare to find a restaurant in a village in the Forez region, and even more so, one open on a Monday at lunchtime. Appetizing, well-prepared, and original dishes, impeccable service, all at a very reasonable weekday lunchtime price. Excellent restaurant! We were a table of seven, and everyone was unanimously delighted with their choices. The two children accompanying us loved their meals and even suggested we come back. For our second visit, kudos again to the chef and the service staff. A treat from start to finish—keep up the good work!
