The food is excellent, the prices very reasonable, especially at lunchtime, and the desserts are simply sublime. We go there from time to time and we're never disappointed.

Great place, spacious dining room, comfortable armchairs, tasty food, good value for money, just a little overwhelmed in the dining room this Saturday, May 30th.

We had dinner there on a weeknight as a couple. It was simply perfect. I had a non-alcoholic cocktail which was delicious. Impeccable service; the waitress was very pleasant and professional. We met the chef at the end of the meal, and the dishes were delicious, cooked to perfection. The setting is very pleasant. We will be back.

The setting is absolutely magnificent, the service impeccable and courteous, and the cuisine is modern, refined (slow-cooked), elegant, generous, and incredibly flavorful. Everything is 100% homemade, including desserts and ice cream (the pastry chef was named Best Pastry Chef in Occitanie in 2025). The place is impeccably clean (including the restrooms, which is worth mentioning given how many similar establishments I've frequented that were less than ideal). We've been coming here since it opened, and it's always a pleasure. There's no extensive menu here; the daily special is €26 and includes a starter, a main course plus a possible suggestion (for a small additional charge), and a dessert. This guarantees freshness and high-quality ingredients. This €26 daily special offers simply incredible value. In addition, three other menus are available at different prices. The owners go the extra mile to ensure you have a wonderful dining experience. That's truly commendable. One last point for the haters: this is an objective review; I have no financial stake in the establishment.

An excellent chef and an excellent pastry chef for desserts. Remarkable value for money, especially for the lunch menu. Respect for the ingredients, which are of high quality, and complex flavor combinations without overpowering the tastes. Highly professional service and a warm welcome. And above all, great kindness in accommodating all the guests' dietary needs (vegetarians, allergies, etc.). Tried at lunch and dinner. A must-try.

Two set menus are available, one for €40 and the other for €55. The menus offer very few choices. There are only two starters and desserts, and two options for the main course, but the quality is extraordinary for the price. Both the presentation and taste are superb. An excellent restaurant. The staff is very pleasant. Reservations are essential, of course. I've been twice while staying at the Château de Pondres. Be warned, the patio is scorching hot in the summer, even in the evening, so it's best to reserve a table inside.

A truly excellent experience on this Easter Sunday! We tried it during our stay in Sommières. A very pleasant welcome, top-notch service, and beautiful, divinely delicious dishes – our taste buds were delighted! We highly recommend it if you're in the area.
