LOU CUGUILLOUN sur Les Orres

We tried an afternoon snack (ice cream) which was fantastic, then we came back one evening for dinner! With a mountain view, the waitresses were incredibly friendly and welcoming! It was lovely to be treated like that, and the Savoyard fondue for two was delicious. Please note that in Les Orres, the restaurant is advertised as accepting holiday vouchers, but they don't. This doesn't detract from the quality of the restaurant at all, it's just a matter of planning ahead! You can go there without hesitation, but remember to book in advance.

The dish was very good, but unfortunately quite expensive considering the portion size. The wait was also a bit long given the few customers. On the other hand, the setting and scenery are truly beautiful.

A great restaurant, we ate very well with my daughter and an exceptional waitress, always smiling and attentive, well done Celia.

We came for dinner on August 5th. We had a reservation and were seated on the terrace. Superb view of the forest and the valley, and a beautiful sunset. The food was excellent (we highly recommend the grilled meats!), the waitresses were very pleasant and helpful, and the owner was also very attentive. In short, a very successful evening and a menu typical of the Hautes-Alpes region, but also featuring classic mountain dishes... Top-notch!

We had dinner at Lou Cugilloun in the evening with a magnificent sunset over the mountains 🤩 We received excellent recommendations and our meal was delicious! The food was superb; we tried the "Oreilles d'ânes" (donkey ears) and tartiflette as main courses, and profiteroles and blueberry tart for dessert. I highly recommend this place!

The service, the food, and the ambiance all come together to create a wonderful experience. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant; it's well worth a visit.

The service is incredible; the waitresses and manager are extremely kind and their good humor is contagious. The dishes are filled with quality ingredients and the food is truly excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back! ☀️
