The cuisine is refined; each dish is a harmony of flavors, a delight for the taste buds. The welcome was very warm, and we had a wonderful, relaxed time. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back for the next menu!

A truly lovely time spent at the Lou Regalou restaurant, nestled in the heart of a charming village in the Cévennes. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff is complemented by delicious, generous, and beautifully presented cuisine. A special mention goes to Julie and her mother, who run a restaurant where you're guaranteed a wonderful meal.

A truly fantastic semi-gastronomic restaurant. Varied and colorful dishes that don't overpower the ingredients. A real treat for both the palate and the eyes. A must-visit for lovers of fine food.

“LOU REGALOU” – November 2, 2025 – Lunch at 1:00 PM – Round table for 4 adults. A mix of the “GOURMAND” and “REGALOU” menus. Julie handles everything from the welcome to the service, while in the kitchen, the master chef is Cyril. What can we say about this autumn menu… It’s a delight. Through the originality of the flavor and texture combinations, it’s a festival of tastes, different compositions that pleasantly awaken our taste buds. The pleasure begins with the arrival of the dishes on their plates. Pictures to admire before tasting. The two starters offered were "Floating Island with Mushroom and Chestnut" and "Saint-Martialais Mille-Feuille with Pissaladière Ice Cream." This was followed by a Guinea Fowl Supreme, cooked at low temperature and served with a spelt risotto (what flavor!) and roasted butternut squash, and a perfectly cooked cod fillet, accompanied by local potato churros and a sublime leek sauce with olive oil. The desserts that finished the meal were a dacquoise tartlet topped with a dome of diced pear, set in a ring of chocolate cream and presented as a mille-feuille, and a truly decadent tarte tatin. These pastry desserts were simply dreamy. You will find photos of the dishes below… Enjoy without moderation. This restaurant is a must-visit, and worth revisiting, to savor authentic dishes prepared with a semi-gastronomic touch. Many thanks again to Julie and Cyril, our hosts.
