We had been visiting Abbey du Thoronet in nearby Var when we belatedly decided we would like to have lunch. Driving to Brignoles, we happened upon this charming restaurant at 1:15 but they graciously accommodated our late arrival. The beautiful courtyard area was filled with diners who were enjoying an assortment of delicious looking foods. We were not disappointed. Our wine, the food and the desserts were all wonderful, as was our waitress AND the owner and chef, Romain Godefroy. Simply a wonderful dining experience! Highly recommend.

A wonderful time in a pleasant setting. The service was rigorous and efficient, yet always cheerful. The tuna tataki, enhanced by an original sauce, was a delight for both the palate and the eyes. The duck breast and its accompaniments paired beautifully with the wine, a red Bandol suggested by the owner. Finally, the revisited tiramisu completed this excellent meal. A big thank you to the entire team, who remain true to their reputation.
