Pretty nice burger with good atmosphere, service and setting.

The best tuna steak in France ever, and the grilled sepia was also very good. Compliments to the chef!! Desert was not as good as the main meal. Rose wine was very good! Very friendly service.

03/30/2024 - Dinner The place is nice, we arrived a little late at night (Saturday) and there was not much hustle and bustle, so the service was very good and attentive, the food good and simple, without great pretensions, and the place was good, the cleanliness could be a a little better. We had dinner outside and it was cool, but with the stoves there was no problem. Recommendable.

Good atmosphere and very welcoming

Strolling through the square we came to this vibrant restaurant. The meal was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. As always in France, the dining experience does not disappoint. The staff are polite and helpful with tourists and were happy to translate some dishes to assist in our choice.

Already, the situation is really great on this beautiful herbal square! Then the welcome is friendly, you can have a drink there or enjoy a mega salad or their superb cannelloni among others. I really like going there and I recommend it.

We went to this restaurant on Sunday October 22, 2023. The Place aux Herbes was packed with people (because of the Médiévales d'Uzès, an event that we had come to see). All the restaurants in this place were saturated with customers. The restaurant opposite L'Oustal even told us to wait for the 2nd service if we wanted to eat there, which was a 45min to 1 hour wait according to the waitress. It was 12:50 p.m.... Disappointed but without waiting any longer given the time, my husband and I turned onto the square, asked Oustal if they could serve us and when.... We were received by a dynamic server who masterfully managed all the waiting customers (lots of people did like us!) Top notch welcome. Terrific efficiency. Barely 10 minutes to be seated at a table, little wait for the dishes as well (as we were hungry from having had a lot of food, we only took starters because we told ourselves that we would be served more quickly). Delicious and reasonably priced meal for a weekend!
