We came in June with several walkers we met on the way. The place is very charming, very clean, the food is great, including a very generous breakfast, and the hosts and their teams are friendly. To recommend without hesitation

In the countryside but quite close on the way to Santiago de Compostela. The rooms are comfortable, the garden is pleasant. The welcome is great, we had a good dinner there and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. I recommend

I stayed for a week at Oustal in August and really enjoyed this establishment which was able to combine tradition and modernity. A friendly, discreet and elegant welcome, refined and tasty cuisine, attentive service. Thank you to Thomas, Audrey, Jessica, Étienne and the entire team for contributing to the promotion of this magnificent Margeride for our greatest pleasure.

Very beautiful building with charm. I stayed 1 night in the 18-person dormitory. This one is correct but denotes the restaurant/hotel part. There are only two showers for 18 beds with a door that does not lock. The meal was OK but not very plentiful, the breakfast was good quality.

I only went to the restaurant so no experience with the rooms. But I was delighted with the family meal. Superb location, very well restored building, and very beautiful view. It was very good, large choice and excellent value for money, impeccable service. Closed during the winter period. I highly recommend

Un peu perdu mais au calme, ce restaurant propose des menus très corrects, ainsi qu'une belle carte. Menu à 23€ . Très copieux avec une assiette de charcuterie de pays excellente. Une bonne tête de veau sauce gribiche avec légumes frais ( sans ,Pdt) excellente . Service très sympathique. Je recommande.

Chambre correcte et propre. Bon accueil. Dîner très bien. Pt déjeuner très copieux, il y a de tout pour une fois depuis notre départ du Puy en Velay.

25/09/2024: Une halte sur le chemin de compostelle...nous avions peur vu les horribles avis que nous avions lu ....que nenni, le contraire nous a agréablement surpris...
11/09/2024: We weren't able to try the rooms because we were sleeping elsewhere. But the service and quality were there. Tasty dishes. The attentive staff, friendliness and family spirit. A place where we like to take a break. I warmly recommend, thank you to Julie and Katie for welcoming us so warmly! We will recommend you with great pleasure! Best wishes PS: we ate there 2 evenings in a row.

Hotel du Centre

03/10/2024: This cottage halfway to the hotel is very pleasant, well located and clean, we found the hosts very friendly. When you arrived, the bed was already made (unlike other lodgings where you have to make your bed). Half board is not obligatory, and since the restaurant is open in the evening we were able to dine there and choose what we ate, which we really appreciated. On the other hand, upstairs it smelled a little like oil or gas, perhaps because of the heating.
