We had a fantastic meal here last summer so we were keen to return. The menu was more limited than we remembered. We started with salmon tartare, avocado and strawberries. Main course was burger and Thai sea bass, and dessert a strawberry tart. Everything was well cooked and possibly under seasoned. Service was ok, missed a few of our requests. We were disappointed that our meal didn’t live up to our memory and would be unlikely to return, especially as there are so many great restaurants in the village.

Excellent food, The salmon tartar was excellent original with avocado and strawberries. The laupe fish was wonderful, fresh and very tastefully prepared vegetables.The chocotate fondant was just right, fluid with vanilla ice-cream.

26/09/2024: An excellent experience and a magnificent setting
31/08/2024: Après la Visite du Château, de son Parc et de son Caveau, nous avons déjeuner au Bistrot du Château de Berne et nous sommes ressortis ravis de notre Repas. Raviole au saucisson italien Spianata et petits légumes croquants. Filet de bar accompagné d’une sauce succulente. Et pour terminer un magnifique plateau de Fromages… le tout était excellent.. et la Cheffe de Salle d’une compétence et sympathie maximales… je conseille donc vivement…

26/06/2025: Nice restaurant with Dutch owners. Passion for cooking and spoiling guests... Special gem in a beautiful French village!
25/06/2025: We had promised the friendly waitress from Hengelo to eat at her parents' restaurant. So we drove all the way from Hengelo here (okay, we were on holiday nearby 😉), but unfortunately we had to leave. But it looked super cozy, so who knows, maybe we'll try it again someday.
