We went to the market at 12 and were served right away. We loved the oysters; we tried the three sizes and the special ones, and we really enjoyed them—so delicious! 😜😜 The town of Arcachon is adorable. Afterwards, you can go for dessert at any of the pastry shops outside the market. See my review below.
I was born in a coastal area and have always eaten perfectly prepared seafood, fresh from the ocean. I can say with complete confidence that this is a great place for a seafood platter. I recommend the seafood platter for two; it's absolutely delicious. Enjoy!
Everything is delicious, but... They're closed on Mondays. The website says they're open from 8 a.m. on other days, but alas, you can't get in before 10:30 a.m.
Informal atmosphere inside the market
The very young man who served us was exceptional; he spoke a little Italian and gave us excellent advice.
The product is very fresh and of excellent quality.
