Lumiere sur Sete

What a find! Right across from the halls, despite the crowds and people, they are helpful and attentive. The seafood platter or the gratinéed shellfish platter is a real treat! Thank you for your warm welcome and smiles... I will definitely be back.

Extraordinary service, magnificent atmosphere, it's the greatest pleasure I've ever experienced, Melvin will attest, and he's successfully taken over his father's business. I recommend this place to all vacationers; pure bliss at a great price, and immense respect to the person who built this establishment.

Benji gave us a very warm welcome, we had a wonderful time enjoying seafood in a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere, although we would have preferred Robin (clearly much cuter).

Arriving in the late afternoon, we were greeted by a fantastic atmosphere, complete with a small concert in the evening. The oysters were delicious, the shrimp too, and the white wine was a perfect choice. The service was impeccable, incredibly efficient; we never had to wait. The place is amazing. A special shout-out to the waiter from Saint-Étienne who looked after us—great guy, thank you! We had a wonderful time; I highly recommend it.

The place to be, right in the heart of Sète, and an institution for years: a meeting place for coffee and croissants in the morning; later, for quintessential French delicacies. First-class oysters, prawns, and other shellfish of perfect quality and freshness. A popular specialty at Barajo Lumière Café: gratinated oysters and razor clams, served piping hot – an absolute delight. Enjoy it with a suitable Chardonnay, Crémant, cocktail – you name it, the bar has it all – and on the lively terrace, you'll always find yourself staying longer than planned...

I always stop by Barajo Lumière Café whenever I'm in Sète. The location is really nice and there's a great atmosphere. You really feel like you're in the South! :) I love ordering drinks and a seafood platter. <3 The staff is very friendly, although there's sometimes a bit of a wait (they're so popular!) and they often forget things (drinks, napkins, red wine vinegar, ashtrays...).
