Lys Du Roy sur Sermiers

A wonderful discovery in Sermiers. I had a fantastic time at Le Lys du Roy. Chef Fabien's cuisine is precise, generous, and full of flavor: beautifully executed dishes made with quality ingredients and a true mastery of his craft. The service provided by Sonia is equally remarkable: a warm and attentive welcome without being intrusive; you immediately feel at ease. An address I wholeheartedly recommend, both for the quality of the food and the ambiance. I will gladly return.

A wonderful discovery thanks to my friend Chantal. The place is very pretty, with a lovely atmosphere, a fantastic chef, and delicious food with delightful surprises like the vanilla and rhubarb craquelin choux pastry—a subtle blend of tartness from the rhubarb and sweetness from the vanilla. I absolutely loved it. The service was excellent, with touches of humor. I had a truly enjoyable time and highly recommend it.

The Easter menu was excellent, and our children (11 and 13) also loved the food. There was even a separate children's menu available. The service was fantastic! Although my French is quite rusty, communication wasn't a problem. When I absolutely had to speak English, the friendly staff helped me out. The value for money was superb!

We had a wonderful time at Lys du Roy for a family reunion. Everything was perfect: the setting, the welcome, the service, and the food, all at an excellent price. We look forward to returning!

This is the third time I've had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant. The dishes are more than delicious, always beautifully presented, and feature flavors I wouldn't have dared to combine myself. The portions are also very generous for a meal. The atmosphere is lovely, perfect for a quiet dinner with your partner, friends, or family. I highly recommend it.

We were disappointed with this restaurant, despite its lovely location in the countryside near Reims. The service was unprofessional. We would have appreciated at least three olives to accompany our champagne as an aperitif. The exterior doesn't encourage you to go inside. The food is good, but nothing special. The gravlax was generous but bland, served without any seasoning. The desserts, which looked appealing on the menu, were disappointing: half a poached pear on the plate with three tiny dollops of whipped cream, and a pasty orange mousse. It would take very little effort to make us want to return: the little details that make all the difference... This one didn't.

The restaurant is very cozy. From appetizers to desserts, the dishes are beautifully presented and, above all, delicious. We had a lovely evening by the fireplace. We highly recommend it!
