Ma'a Tahiti Restaurant sur Toulon

The dishes are generous, fresh, and full of authenticity. Special mention for the raw fish, a delight! And I'm not even talking about the desserts that take you even further. The staff takes great care, always with a smile. You feel like staying with friends, with that little extra soul that you don’t find everywhere. In short, a must for those who want to escape for a meal.

We dined at Ma'a Tahiti based on the very positive comments and were rather disappointed. Nothing dramatic, but considering the prices we felt that the quality was not equivalent. The welcome and service were friendly. On the other hand, we found the fish a little overcooked and the vanilla sauce not very tasty (vanilla being very expensive, the choice was perhaps made to reduce the quantity). The fried chicken was also totally processed, it wasn't whole fillets. And the rice, although it was good, was not decorated. All in all, it wasn't bad, but for the price we expected better. We had a blast!?! A cuisine that seems family .. full of flavor! I highly recommend this restaurant, especially the chicken fafa and the not very sweet banana coconut cake.

I had the Tahitian salad with shrimp, delicious! The service is friendly and fast. In addition we were entitled to a typical Tahitian concert and we had a shell necklace. Very good cuisine that takes you on a journey! 🌺

Tahitische Küche - die kannten wir noch nicht. Der Restaurantbesuch war ein großartiges Erlebnis. Wir nahmen das sehr empfehlenswerte Ménu Découverte. Dessen Name verspricht nicht zuviel, weil die verschiedenen Gerichte des Hauptgangs (auf Wunsch gleichzeitig aufgetragen) sehr unterschiedlich schmecken; wir konnten uns nicht entscheiden, was uns am besten gefiel. Das Essen machte einfach Spaß. Abgerundet wurde das Mahl durch sehr spezielle und leckere Desserts auf Bananenbasis (worauf ich sonst nicht so erpicht bin). Rundum war das Essen super. Dazu gab es einen einfachen, guten provençalischen Rosé und vorab einen interessanten tahitischen Punsch. Auch das Setting ist klasse, und die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich.
