Meh, very limited menu, quantity and quality not in line with the price. The portion size varies depending on the customer. We ordered the signature dish, chicken with goat cheese, based on what we saw at the next table, but unfortunately the portion wasn't the same, and as for the quality, it was just average roadside fare. We won't be going back!

Always a warm welcome at Mac Sym's, where all the dishes are excellent (best Caesar salad I've ever tasted!)! A must-visit restaurant in Sanary!

A great place to eat on the port of Sanary. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We had a wonderful time with our children, aged 8 and 4. Thank you!

A completely impromptu lunch and a very pleasant surprise! We all thoroughly enjoyed it, young and old alike. They even had a proper children's menu (drink, main course, dessert, and a little surprise). The setting, overlooking the port of Sanary, is magnificent, and the welcome and service were excellent. Very good value for money. I highly recommend this place! Note: Parking is available near the port (paid but at a reasonable price).

We had dinner there one evening. The service was excellent, with lovely staff. The strawberry-basil Spritz was truly delicious; I could have drunk liters of it! The seared tuna was also very good. My partner had the chicken and goat cheese dish, which was excellent. A minor complaint about the fries, which weren't homemade. Our waitress explained that their regular customers weren't too keen on them, which is actually a good thing because they listen to their customers 😊

I highly recommend eating at Mac Sym's. The service is absolutely top-notch, the staff are friendly, the food is high quality, the vegetables are fresh, the prices are very reasonable, and the place is very clean and quiet. Thank you for this wonderful experience! 👏👍😉

Hôtel de la Tour

12/06/2026: Fine older, family operated hotel in a unique location. Restaurant is fantastic, but be sure to reserve in advance and take the time to consider the menu in advance!
02/06/2026: If there was a hotel star for hospitality, this hotel would have 5! We arrived at 9am, with 2 motorbikes and luggage, tired and hungry from an overnight ferry journey. Reception could not have been warmer: have some breakfast, private parking for the bikes and your room is ready. Now that is special. Hotel is charming and you will already know there is no lift: our room was as advertised and the best view of any hotel over Sanary Harbour. Rooms are excellent value for money. The restaurant (closed Tuesday) is easily the best place to eat in Sanary. This hotel is a real gem, run by a genuinely warm hotel family team. We cannot wait to return - and check in at a more normal time !

07/07/2026: Al fresco dining on the harbor. Possibly the best location in Sanary-sus-Mer.
05/07/2026: Meal with two children. At €14 for the set menu, I at least expected the cooking to be done properly. The steak was overcooked, the fries were frozen, and the dessert was a tub of ice cream like you'd get in a supermarket cafeteria. For the adults, two prawn and scallop menus were completely bland. The side dishes were tasteless. The welcome was friendly and the service quick. This will be my only visit. Best of luck, and I hope my review is helpful. P.S.: We are not tourists.
