Excellent Neapolitan cuisine, a pleasant surprise amidst the tourist crowds; impeccable and professional service. To those who arrive as a couple wanting to reserve a table just to share a single pizza (I've experienced this myself): it's disrespectful. Don't do it! Order two! And if there are seven of you, order seven! You wouldn't order a single steak for several people and then demand to share it, would you?

The result is simply exceptional: a truly artisanal Neapolitan pizza, with a sublime taste and authentic flavors. The dough is absolutely incredible: light, soft, and so melt-in-your-mouth. I've honestly never tasted dough like this! Every bite is pure bliss. And the pasta carbonara is also exceptional: generous, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, with that authentic taste of Italian cuisine. To top it all off, the staff are lovely, warm, smiling, and very friendly. The service is just as good as the food. An extraordinary experience from start to finish! We've been coming to this restaurant for 6 years. The quality and standards are uncompromising. The owners do everything with love. The pizza is authentic Neapolitan, without overdoing it. The pasta dishes take you back to being a child in southern Italy. The spaghetti alla Nerano is something you dream about at night; the spaghetti with tomato sauce is excellent despite its apparent simplicity. The service is attentive and courteous. For us, it's like a safe haven. For a hundred years!!!

Sunday Lunchtime. Service was the bare minimum. No smiles. No welcome. No niceties. Food was good. I ate the aubergine parmagiania and my husband had a pizza. There are plenty of places nearby with better service, so I wouldn't return. Shame.

Had made reservations on web for 9:15p. Got there after long train ride and went to use toilet. I was stopped and told no. I said "we have reservations. She argued with me and was rude. I said well as they were 75% empty we wanted to eat there. And they checked for my name for reservation and said no. Ended up they sat us. I had been there years ago and was best pizza I ever had. All downhill from previous visit . Disappointed. Was also told it was "not possible " to share a pizza , we weren't that hungry and did not finish either dish we were forced to order. I get the revenue aspect of sharing a plate. Charge a plate charge? Or just don't be so rude in providing answers to why we can't share . The crust was excellent as before, but middle was thin and soggy. Too bad. I looked forward to going back so much. And was let down . We won't go back .
