On a business trip with a German colleague, a wonderful discovery in the center of Divonne. A lovely shaded terrace and excellent service. What a sauce!!! Thank you for a lovely evening.

The meat was tough and unappetizing, the sauce had no flavor, the fries were crispy but quickly became hard. I won't be going back, I don't recommend it. 👎🏻

A very good restaurant if you're looking to eat a piece of meat! We were able to enjoy the terrace next to the river, which adds a lot of charm to the restaurant.

It was a wonderful dinner! The staff are incredibly friendly. Because of the hot weather, all the guests sat on the back terrace, which is right by the stream. The atmosphere was absolutely charming. We also appreciated the ample space between the tables. The food itself was superb. There's only one set menu (a salad to start, followed by faux filet with fries and a truly fantastic sauce; there's also a vegetarian option). The dessert selection is extensive; we had profiteroles, which were also absolutely delicious. Finally, the drinks menu is very comprehensive. In short: A perfectly enjoyable evening!

Excellent food and a beautiful setting on the outdoor terrace. Unfortunately, the service during our visit was disappointing. They couldn't give me the wines on offer, only "white, rosé, red," yet I was charged for the most expensive one. There was a price list on a display stand next to the till, but they never brought it to me. For dessert, I ordered a caramel panna cotta, and to my surprise, I was brought a red fruit coulis. The person supposedly didn't have paper and a pen to write down my order and just took what was ready in the kitchen. I don't regret insisting on my order, though, because the caramel was delicious!

The only dish was delicious, and the service was friendly. We were on the terrace, and the sound of the running water was lovely. It had a real holiday atmosphere in a green setting. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hotel Restaurant La Truite

22/06/2026: We came for dinner on the terrace Saturday evening and had a wonderful time. I had booked several days in advance for 7 pm, but being a little tight on time, I called to move our reservation by an hour. This was accepted with great kindness and flexibility. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of immediately. The entire team was exceptionally welcoming, available, and attentive to our needs. The service was both quick and efficient, yet still warm and friendly. As for the food, we have absolutely no complaints: the dishes were delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. The prices are also very reasonable considering the quality. We opted for the €32 and €36 set menus (starter, main course, cheese, and dessert) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. A huge thank you to the whole team for this lovely evening. We will definitely be back! ❤️

01/03/2026: Came to Brunch. Exceeded my expectation.
02/11/2025: I was truly disappointed by the brunch I had this Sunday at Domaine de Divonne. The value for money is clearly unbalanced: the food and its presentation are nowhere near what the price warrants. Many dishes weren't labeled, even though the labels were there but simply piled haphazardly on a table instead of being placed in front of each dish. The replenishment wasn't regular, which often gave the impression of an incomplete buffet. As for the portions, especially the foie gras, it was frankly ridiculous: on a slice of bread, there was barely a gram of foie gras per toast. For an establishment of this caliber, this is hardly acceptable. In short, a disappointing experience that unfortunately doesn't justify the price.
