MAFANA ZEN CAFE sur Six-Fours-Les-Plages

22/08/2026: On our first day, we were looking for a restaurant for dinner, but the kitchen doesn't open until 7:00 PM, so we settled on drinks. The service was okay, but there's nothing special to say since we didn't order food. Drinks cost about 25 euros for five people.

29/07/2026: Reopened in May, my ratings reflect the reopening; the new name is "La Marina." I come here every day for a drink after the beach and I find the staff friendly, but the owner is a pathological liar. He takes my order, and 15 minutes later I still haven't been served, even though it's not crowded. The waiter arrives and takes my order, so I point out that I placed my order with the owner. My drink arrives, I see the "boss" and tell him he's forgotten me. He replies haughtily that he doesn't serve on the terrace. Unfortunately for him, I saw him serving when I arrived, and he served two tables after his remark. I hate this kind of self-assured and arrogant person when it's the customers who suffer. A word to the wise.
