Hello and congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Carré, and especially to their team. A strawberry and pistachio dessert – I say bravo again, and at a reasonable price! So thank you to the whole team at Maison Carré.

The bread is excellent, always fresh and flavorful, and the pastries are superb, both in appearance and taste. You can tell they're made with care and quality ingredients. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious baked goods.

Maison Carré in Castelnaud is a bakery and pastry shop with a capital "B" and a capital "P." The quality and variety of their breads are undeniable and perfectly complement our Périgord dishes. Country, traditional, walnut, fig, corn, etc... But our sweet tooth is put to the test because to order bread, you have to wait in front of the pastry shop. Rich, varied, aesthetically pleasing, colorful, and above all, delicious. And let's not forget the specialty biscuits... To help us with our choices, the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and smiling. It's always a great pleasure for me to come to this shop. Don't hesitate to stop by, especially if, like me, you have a sweet tooth; you'll never be disappointed. Philippe

One small drawback: I would have liked more risen dough, meaning more holes in the bread. Otherwise, the welcome was warm and professional.
