Great discovery in Petite France, the menu is simple with quality products
The nice surprise was to have a beautiful Hélène pear served with excellent hot chocolate on the side, I appreciated it is rare.

Decent kitchen
However, like some comments, the presence of wasps really disturbs the meal, the atmosphere and prevents you from fully enjoying the meal.
In addition, a table of 4 for 5 people when the restaurant is half full, we would have preferred better

The service was really friendly and the atmosphere there is great.
However i can not recommend the 'la choucroute'.

Ottima esperienza. Abbiamo pranzato con amici in terrazza. Abbiamo gustato una ottima choucroute e finito con dolce davvero buono approfittando dell’’offerta menù del mezzogiorno. Veloci e gentili. Rapporto qualità prezzo interessante considerato che il ristorante si trova in una zona turistica. Consigliato

The perfect place to eat delicious sauerkraut, under the trees of the terrace overlooking Little France: an ideal postcard! Very good sauerkraut, bucolic and calm setting, attentive service and special mention for the owner, who welcomes visitors, which I find very classy!

We came here as we wanted to try Choucroute and we had read that this was one of the best places in Strasbourg to do so.
It’s certainly the most historic and in a beautiful location. That is guaranteed. However, both the food and the service were disappointing. The portion of choucroute was very large ( you won’t leave hungry) but the meat was dried out and tough. It was just about acceptable for a tourist restaurant.
But the service was just unprofessional from a clearly inexperienced team. There seemed to be no coordination of the waiting team with the result it was difficult to get served and requests for drinks and the bill went unanswered. The waiters were obviously new and hadn’t been properly trained.
A mature gentleman who I assume was the owner was spending time at certain tables with customers whom I assume he knew, all of whom were allocated tables by the window. I would suggest that time is needed making sure that all customers are well looked after whether regular or not.
