I happened upon this shop on my way through. A warm welcome, attentive staff, and good produce. I don't regret ordering a prepared meal: mashed potatoes accompanied by a portion of blood sausage, excellent, as well as this amber craft beer, a real treat. Not to mention this ash sausage, yum!

We drove past it and stopped by chance on our way back from the Puy-de-Dômes. A superb culinary discovery. Delicious, high-quality local produce at a very reasonable price!

Auberge de la Fourniale

28/08/2025: A beer on the terrace at the end of the first leg of the Domes loop. A soothing atmosphere with just the sound of a nearby fountain. We weren't able to try the food at this late stage of the season as it was closing for the evening just after our visit, but the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and there was a great selection of beers, including some excellent local brews. The interior is also worth a visit.

09/09/2024: Attentive servers. On the other hand, a heart of rump steak with 8 small pieces of potatoes and a small piece of zucchini at the price of €27 seems a little high to us. A plate of cheese with 2 small pieces of St Nectaire for €8 with a little salad. The glasses of wine, on the other hand, are very reasonably priced. The service is top notch.
02/09/2024: We tried the restaurant with friends and it was really very good. The service was impeccable. We see that the products are homemade and the quantities were not too copious.
