Maison Loko sur Marseille

I discovered this café completely by chance while strolling through Cours Julien with my sister, and what a lovely surprise! Everything was perfect: excellent service, delicious food, and a decor that I absolutely loved. I highly recommend it!

A lovely solo meal on the terrace, in the shade of the trees, with a refreshing dish – just what I needed to beat the summer heat! It was very pleasant, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! I'll definitely be back.

What a delight! Peaceful and spacious, with a cool atmosphere. Everything was perfect. Refined, seasonal cuisine. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I had a perfectly balanced bowl. Perfect! I'll gladly return.

A lovely, warm interior where you feel comfortable and can happily linger after lunch. There's also a beautiful terrace. The staff are always friendly and smiling, and the food is excellent. I've never been disappointed on any of my visits over the past year. I highly recommend it.

Grabbed a coffee to go - place looked nice, so picked it on a whim. However, the flat white was really disappointing and way too hot - maybe it was an issue with the machine...

A wonderful discovery! The dishes were carefully prepared with quality ingredients and original ideas. However, the service had some shortcomings. We had no complaints at the beginning or during the meal, but when it came time to pay, we almost felt like we were bothering them. Once inside, we were subjected to the waiter's grievances, which made it clear he wasn't happy when it came time to split the bill. We were understanding, but his curt tone brought us back down to earth. Nevertheless, the place remains beautiful and pleasant, with competent table service and a varied menu. We will gladly return; it's just a shame that our experience was marred by a lack of professionalism. Being in the restaurant business, I know it's sometimes important to manage peak hours, as customers shouldn't have to witness this kind of irritation. The atmosphere was inconsistent between the inside and outside, which is a real shame.

If you love home-style cooking, attentive service, and a quick lunch, then book this restaurant without hesitation. Run by a passionate couple, you'll also enjoy their gourmet grocery store.

10/10 for this delicious and delicate brunch. I've had many brunches in France, and this one is the best. I live in Lyon, where there are excellent brunches, but it's in Marseille on Cours Julien that I've had the most wonderful experience. The ingredients are fresh and homemade. The amount of sugar and spices is always just right. It's incredible. I would love to have the recipe for the tiramisu and crumble from today.

They serve the best pâtés en croûte I've ever had. Go there without hesitation, and kudos again to the cook!
