Nice, chill setting, the tapas are good

An unusual place, with hearty and excellent meals. A place I highly recommend.

Three years ago, the 4-star review read: A somewhat random stop... The outdoor setting is superb and worth the stop alone. The concept is original (all dishes are for two or more people to share), and if you're on board with that, it's very enjoyable, especially in a group. The service is impeccable (thank you, Ludivine), not to mention the touch of humor that helps put things in perspective. The dishes are generous, just the right amount... perhaps a little too oily (that's a matter of personal taste!). A good place. Three years later, here's what we remember: Friendly welcome. Superb setting. Decent quality, but rather limited portions. Beware of menu errors: despite what the waitress said, Ice Tea (served) and Fuze Tea (listed on the menu and ordered) are not the same drink. No margaritas because the machine was out of order (sic). We were served very (too) quickly, as we were still halfway through our aperitif, which was excellent, by the way. Others should try it.

Incredible calamari. The sharing platters make for a very reasonable bill (allow approximately one dish for two people; the starters are also very generous).

The waiter was excellent, and the dinner was very pleasant. However, with the open kitchen, I found the cooks' attire a bit off for a restaurant in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. But don't judge a book by its cover, smoking a Puff during service...

We had an amazing experience at Les Pieds dans l’Eau, and we would especially like to thank Abdel, our waiter. We were a family group of 16 people, and despite the size of our table, Abdel made everything look effortless. He welcomed us with genuine warmth, took great care of every single one of us, and provided one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had as a large group. His calmness, professionalism, confidence, and natural charisma were truly impressive. He was attentive, organized, and always smiling, making sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the meal. On behalf of our entire family, thank you, Abdel. You made our evening unforgettable, and we will definitely come back because of the outstanding service you provided. Les Pieds dans l’Eau is very lucky to have you!

We came to watch the France vs. Morocco match. The setting was pleasant, but our experience was ruined by the behavior of a man who presented himself as the manager (or was a member of staff, though his role wasn't entirely clear). While my wife was in the restroom, he took the opportunity to ask for her phone number. She only told me about it two days later; if she had told me then, the evening would likely have ended very badly. What's even more shocking is that throughout the evening, this person seemed to spend more time observing and following the female customers than actually working. This behavior is completely inappropriate and has no place in an establishment open to the public. I want to emphasize that my opinion is directed solely at this one individual and their behavior. It's a shame, because without this incident, we would have had a very pleasant evening.

A great tapas-style place to share. Nice courtyard. No drink service on the front terrace, order at the bar, no Coca-Cola. The staff seemed a bit lax. Several tapas listed on the menu were missing. The menu looked nice, but was poorly executed.

Cool place! We went in the afternoon, but everything suggests there's a party going on in the evening. We ate tapas with tasty cocktails, skipped the main course, and gave in to the desserts, which were way too big 😀. Highly recommended if you're in St Remy.
