A generous and flavorful cuisine – my partner and I made a wonderful discovery! The service was attentive and refined; the server took the time to explain what we were going to eat and how to eat it, anticipating our needs. The atmosphere was intimate and welcoming! I highly recommend this restaurant!

A sincere and warm welcome, delivered with great humility! The first visit is a delightful discovery; subsequent visits are a pleasure, allowing others to discover it as well.
My only slight regret is the limited variety of vegetarian options.

Lunch as a couple on February 4, 2026: we were delighted!
A warm welcome from a very pleasant young woman who answered our questions with a smile. Her service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We chose the "discovery" dishes (although we had already visited in 2016 and enjoyed them).
We will definitely return and highly recommend this unique restaurant.

What can we say about MAKEBA…
It was our first experience there with my partner, and the reviews were absolutely true.
The welcome was warm, and all the dishes were explained to us with care.
The food was delicious, from the main courses to the desserts, and Georges gave us excellent wine recommendations.
A wonderful discovery, the whole team is lovely, we will gladly return.

Excellent food with a warm and attentive welcome. The main courses were superb (we had the beef and chicken dish), and the chocolate cake with a banana center was very delicate. I'm picky about desserts, but this one won me over! Very chocolatey but not heavy. The typical Ethiopian coffee was very good. We'll be back!

We received a warm welcome, and the food was good. However, it quickly became cramped and we were sitting right next to our neighbors. The food could have been spicier. A great introduction to Ethiopian cuisine, but a bit pricey for what it was.
