We had a wonderful time as a family. The chef took excellent care of us. The dishes were superb and beautifully presented. We highly recommend this lovely place.

We booked to celebrate a birthday. The welcome, the food, the setting—everything was wonderful. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed their meal and left delighted. I highly recommend this restaurant. Le Manoir de la Pommeraie is a place you absolutely must discover.

We had a wonderful time at the Manoir de la Pommeraie. The setting is truly beautiful and peaceful, and the Sensation menu was incredible from start to finish. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Honestly, a fantastic place!

Visited today for my birthday. I moved to Vire last December, and have been working my way through the town’s restaurants. This place has been on my list; but I was awaiting a proper occasion. I’d also been worried that it might be a little stuffy and fancy.
My fears were unfounded, the place was smart and upscale but not pretentious or snobby. The Chef, Julien, greeted us at the door and took my wife and my coat. He explained the 5 course meal, and also said we could order al a carte. My wife and I got 4 courses, entree, plat cheese and dessert. When the food came out, Chef Julien came and described each item on the plate, including the providence of various ingredients. Everything I ate was immaculately prepared, I don’t want to try and describe the dishes, except to say that the Norman Beef tataki is as amazing. Remarkably tender, for a piece of meat basically served “bleu”. This was also my first real encounter with a French “Chariot de fromage” and I have to say how much I appreciated the chefs in depth description of each cheese.
Lunch was 3 1/2 hours long, and that’s with skipping coffee, but it never dragged.

A charming setting overlooking a garden, excellent service, and quality products. Good value for money. The menu is limited, with only two choices per category, which can be a bit tricky. The desserts are superb.
