We came to Oleron for three nights at the end of November and stayed at the Auberge de la Marie Galante in Sauzelle. Our room was recently renovated with a seaside theme. The breakfast was very good. We're not family or close friends, but I highly recommend it. The owners are welcoming and kind. We'll definitely be back.

I dined 3 evenings in this restaurant, excellent pizza, the next day mussels and fries, the best in a long time, and this evening red mullet fillets with a rice timbale prepared in the style of chef Benoît, all 3 evenings desserts to feast on, this evening tarte Tatin decorated with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream drizzled with a local Pineau Blanc, there is love in this cuisine, the service is provided by Stéphanie who brings a dose of know-how and kindness that we cannot forget... thank you again, I spent 3 wonderful evenings thanks to them

We felt the passion for their work and the professionalism of this couple, who care about customer service and quality, while offering excellent value for money. We were delighted by the quality of the breakfast and the food. The room was very clean, pleasant, and comfortable, as were all the interior and exterior spaces of the establishment. Great stay with very welcoming hosts! We stayed in the apartment during the last week of July. Ideal location for exploring the island by bike. The pizzas are very good. We recommend!

A wonderful experience that was well worth the detour. Indeed, this little corner of tranquility deserves to be discovered. A restaurant located in the triangle of "major cities." Arriving at 1:30 p.m. by bike, we were warmly welcomed by the owners, who will take care of you. A simple menu: (delicious pizza with homemade dough), generous salads, a children's menu, homemade desserts, and other ice creams (local selections), allowing you to find what you're looking for (the longer the menus, the less fresh the products 🫢). If we return to the island for a few days, we will stay at the hotel because the reviews already confirm what we saw about the general cleanliness and care taken. Don't forget your bikes if you want to enjoy this beautiful island! . Thanks again for the welcome we received.
