If you are looking to try classic Parisian absinthe, definitely check this place out! The staff are very friendly, Tibo helped me choose which absinthe to try and served it with the sugar cube and fire :) A cool experience.

Last night we were group of ~40 academic historians showed up unannounced after doing an absinthe walking tour. 40 orders of absinthe + beers etc. Only 2 staff members and they were great.

Great little neighborhood bar, quiet and peaceful near Place Pigalle. The drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is very Parisian. Pints ​​are €5 and a very good planter's punch is €6. A bonus: a lovely welcome from Thaïs 🫶🏻 My first time there and I can't wait to go back 🙂‍↕️

It's a really cool place, with great beer, and the people there seemed very local and friendly, almost like family. The hostess was super nice and kind, and the decor was really fun and original. We asked for a napkin, and she kindly shared a big piece from a roll of paper towels with us. Highly recommended.

Le Paris Seize

12/07/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. Ideally located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, Paris Seize is a traditional French restaurant with an authentic, elegant, and refined setting. Traditional French dishes are revisited with boldness and creativity, prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The warm and friendly atmosphere makes it an ideal place for lunch with friends or dinner with family. The neighborhood is one of the best in the capital. And let's not forget, the staff and managers are extremely helpful and lovely.
05/07/2026: I forgot to leave a review, so I'm correcting that now. A big thank you to Fred, who was very understanding after I made a booking mistake (for 8 people). Luckily, I was able to make up for it the very next day. A wonderful discovery: ideal for introducing foreign friends to the atmosphere and authentic cuisine of a charming French bistro. PS: The bistro has a policy of not requiring credit card information for reservations, which is commendable. In case of unforeseen circumstances, please let them know in advance: a no-show is a real problem for our restaurant friends.
