Yes yes I know , others will gush about what this city has to offer and it's history, but sadly that's in the past and through no fault of it's own the city was near destroyed during the war and post war reconstruction has been, well, less than inspired to say the least. But i digress.....one memorable high point on our short visit was the restaurant Martin Comptoir. Worthy of it's inclusion on the Michelin guide. Service impeccable, attention to detail, faultless, friendly and helpful. We didt the tasting menu with wine paring and the whole affair was excellent. The chef clearly understands his craft, the care, presentation and quality of the dishes was evident every time.
Really enjoyed our evening there.
