26/04/2026: Summary: Food Quality: Very Good Ambiance: Good Value for Money: Very Good Service: Good Parking: Good Cleanliness: Good Location & Surroundings: Very Good Prose: At the end of April, we discovered a small but excellent restaurant in France that impressed us so much that we've already dined there five times this year. Lunch consisted of fresh oysters of exceptionally high quality: meaty, flavorful, and perfectly chilled. The combination with the onion vinegar is particularly recommended; it elevates the oysters to a whole new level. A refreshing, well-chilled white or rosé wine paired perfectly with them. Another highlight was the shrimp with garlic mayonnaise—fresh, aromatic, and simply delicious. The owner is exceptionally kind and helpful, and the service is friendly and unobtrusive. The value for money is remarkably good: For the quality and freshness offered, you pay significantly less here than in other countries (Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain). The location is also convenient: Parking spaces are usually available nearby. After your meal, you can enjoy a pleasant stroll or a refreshing swim at the nearby nudist beach. The beach was surprisingly clean at the end of April, much cleaner than many comparable beaches we know from Italy or Spain. In conclusion: An authentic, uncomplicated, and high-quality restaurant that impresses above all with its excellent oysters, the friendly owner, and the outstanding value for money. It's advisable to avoid peak hours, as it gets very noisy then, and cleanliness suffers. Anyone in the area should definitely try this restaurant; we will certainly be back.
