A typical spot where you can enjoy oysters, shrimp, whelks, clams, and cockles, all made with excellent quality and incredibly fresh products. The setting is magnificent and invites you to have a wonderful time. The only slight drawback is the lack of cheese or dessert plates. This would allow you to extend the experience and come for a full meal, not just an aperitif.

23/01/2026: I didn't know about it, I stumbled upon it by chance, and I don't regret it. The owner gave me a friendly welcome, the setting was pleasant and original, and the staff were attentive and very pleasant. The oysters, prepared in their own style, and the mussels with a twist were fantastic... I'll definitely be back.

The owner gave us a friendly welcome, and we were able to eat in the beautiful, cozy courtyard. The service was fantastic, and the pizza was delicious. Even though the owner was working alone that evening, she handled everything with such poise and skill! To the owner: what's your favorite playlist? We'd love to bring a little bit of the Cap Sud vibe home with us :)

The setting and decor are superb, but it's the welcome that truly makes the difference: the owner is incredibly kind and the whole team is lovely. Lunch consisted of fresh oysters of exceptionally high quality: meaty, flavorful, and perfectly chilled. The combination with the onion vinegar is particularly recommended; it elevates the oysters to a whole new level. A refreshing, well-chilled white or rosé wine paired perfectly with them. Another highlight was the shrimp with garlic mayonnaise—fresh, aromatic, and simply delicious. The owner is exceptionally kind and helpful, and the service is friendly and unobtrusive. The value for money is remarkably good: For the quality and freshness offered, you pay significantly less here than in other countries (Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain). The location is also convenient: Parking spaces are usually available nearby. After your meal, you can enjoy a pleasant stroll or a refreshing swim at the nearby nudist beach. The beach was surprisingly clean at the end of April, much cleaner than many comparable beaches we know from Italy or Spain. In conclusion: An authentic, uncomplicated, and high-quality restaurant that impresses above all with its excellent oysters, the friendly owner, and the outstanding value for money. It's advisable to avoid peak hours, as it gets very noisy then, and cleanliness suffers. Anyone in the area should definitely try this restaurant; we will certainly be back.

19/04/2026: We arrived on a Sunday at 1 p.m. Our order was taken with a smile upon arrival, and we were told there would be a slight wait due to the restaurant's high volume of customers, which is usually a sign of quality. But apparently, the "you'll be served in 5 minutes" turned into a 1 hour and 15 minute wait for each customer on our terrace. Yes, the products are fresh and meet our expectations. The terrace was full, but the least they could do is apologize and not blame the chef "who's on top of things"—that's no excuse. They are undoubtedly good oyster farmers, but we still have our doubts about whether they are restaurateurs. During the wait, we weren't even offered a bread basket because, and I quote, "it's extra." It was served with two small pats of salted butter. Ponpon on the Garonne River, we arrived at the register and waited 15 minutes. Getting lost in paper order forms and having to repeatedly call on colleagues because disorganization is a cornerstone of their establishment. Blaming the customer for not knowing their table number is quite surprising. In conclusion, the place is great, the products are fresh and sourced, but don't expect to be served in a hurry and don't expect any kind of discount at the end of your meal. 14/04/2026: The service can be improved by being more efficient, dishes cannot be served without synchronization, diners must receive their dishes at the same time. Regarding the fish (monkfish) it looks boiled. The oysters in a town where there are producers, they would have to choose the quality better. (experts) For the rest everything is correct.
