27/08/2026: The best Pizza in Leucate!!! It is advisable to call at lunch time and book for your Pizza takeaway in the evening. Nice little courtyard and a very tasty, light and thin Pizza. Good choice on the menu and super friendly staff!

22/08/2026: The owners are incredibly kind, as always when we're in Leucate village. We get pizza, kebab, and panini, and it's always delicious, with a nice little touch like a large order of fries instead of a small one. Highly recommended! Keep up the good work, don't change a thing.

16/09/2026: I regularly go to Le Petit Bigorneau. Several times when I reserve a table on the waterfront terrace with my friends, we are bothered by the noise of the oyster cleaning at peak times, 12:30 pm. We have reported it, but it happens again. It is unpleasant to eat in these conditions. For the rest, the service and the setting are excellent, great music when you can hear it, for that reason it is better to eat inside.

05/09/2026: Closed two days in a row without any signs, lights on 🤷‍♂️ Friday and Saturday, September 5th. Several people were turned away at the door. Disappointing.

19/10/2026: Embruns Menu. Good, but disappointed by the venison and broccoli dish. Furthermore, there was a real problem with the service. We felt like an extra table. We had to wait for wine advice, and then waited about twenty minutes for the last course (we even pointed out that one of our guests' meats was overcooked, so his dish went back to the kitchen while mine stayed on the table, meaning I ate cold food when it returned). There were no apologies, and the wine service was completely ineffective; they were forced to serve us. It was only at the very end that the sommelier noticed we were there.

04/10/2026: What can I say except…magnificent ❤️ Of course it was excellent, but for us it was even more than that. When you love to eat, discover new things, and especially take the time to savor every bite, you know there's a tremendous amount of work behind it to achieve this result. And honestly, it shows everywhere. Everything is carefully considered, even the smallest details… The presentation of the olives on the little wrought-iron stand, the citrus butter… the plates, the flavors, the textures… Nothing is there by chance. And the wines… The desserts and all the little sweet treats were delicious (we wanted more) ☺️ Plus, it was to celebrate our wedding, so naturally this meal will remain even more special for us. Even the somewhat, or rather, very rainy weather ultimately made the moment magnificent… The sea, the clouds… we were simply happy, enjoying everything. So yes, in our eyes, and especially to our taste buds 😂, you deserve all the stars in the world! But ultimately… 1, 2, 3, 10, or 100 stars, does it really make a difference? Stars don't necessarily have the same value for everyone. What we remember most is what we felt, what we tasted, the time we spent… and the desire to come back! ❤️ A huge congratulations to Paloma, Erwan, and the whole team, because we know that before it reaches our plates, there's a tremendous amount of work behind it all, and thank you for showcasing our region so beautifully. 27/09/2026: Very disappointing lunch The starter wasn't great, with undercooked bacon The mixed grill consisted mainly of mussels, with four fish, and the whole thing tasted like it had been reheated 🙈 The chocolate ice cream was more like milk chocolate Overall, a very disappointing meal Especially considering the price 🏆

26/09/2026: A very good dinner; the bouillabaisse royale and the cassoulet Leucatois were hearty and delicious! Great atmosphere, the owners have a great sense of humor and are very attentive to their customers. I highly recommend it! We've been there as a family several times and we'll definitely go back.

12/10/2026: We had the set lunch menu for 26 euros and everything was delicious and different. We really enjoyed it.

08/10/2026: A charming establishment located on a lovely little pedestrian square, with a terrace shaded by a few trees. A warm and welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service despite the crowds, a clear menu, an extensive wine list, and several regional wines available by the glass at REASONABLE PRICES!!! And the dishes lived up to our expectations (Thank you to the chefs!) in both presentation and taste! A delight, simple yet efficient and fresh! Around sixty euros for two, lunchtime, including wine and coffee, is perfect! A big THANK YOU!!! We will definitely be back! Wine merchants from Saumur...

27/09/2026: We also stopped by this oyster restaurant, which used to be one of our favourites. Unfortunately, this time the service was very disappointing and much worse than we remembered. On the positive side, we finally got to try sea urchins here, which weren’t available at the first place we visited. So there was definitely something good about the experience, but overall the poor service really affected it. For this visit, 3 stars.

02/07/2026: We came to enjoy half a dozen oysters as a family. A very warm welcome, oysters of exceptional quality, and for those who don't like oysters, there are mussels and shrimp. You can also buy and take away. Perfect, and we'll definitely be back! 😉 And thank you for the carafe of fresh water.

30/06/2026: BEWARE!!! We ordered 12 oysters and one was dead with a very unpleasant smell. We told the waitress, who very politely went to tell the manager/owner... to our surprise, she looked at her and made a face and gestures that suggested... they're tourists.... I will never go back to that place. There are other restaurants to choose from. I didn't complain to ask for anything in return, just so they would know, because it's my money and I decide how I spend it.... And I won't be going back to that place.
