Maru sur Montbeliard

It was pretty average. The cake was decent but nothing special, and the matcha was just okay. The service was a bit lacking in attention.

A strange experience at this café. It smells nice when you walk in, but the coffee itself is served lukewarm and tasteless. There weren't many people there this afternoon, apart from the waitresses and their friends who were giggling amongst themselves and talking loudly. You feel like you're intruding. You come to have a coffee and relax, and you leave more irritated than anything else. You also have to pay extra on the spot and get your drink yourself from the counter. However, when it comes to serving your friends at a table, that's no problem at all.

I had their kimchi cheese croffle(a croissant waffle) and it was really good. The waiting time was short and there were many seats inside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here . We had the coffrels two of us chose the fried chicken and the other salmon with a delicious iced latte, cappuccino and a iced matcha. Very yummy!

The atmosphere is really pleasant, the drinks are very good, the iced latte has a good amount of coffee which makes it delicious, and the ube latte was very good.

We went in for the curry and savory croffles... but they hadn't been available for several months! The sign outside should be changed. Instead, we got bento boxes and sweet croffles. They were okay, but rather average compared to other places on Rue St. Anne. The service was decent and the dining room was quiet, which was a plus. We won't be going back, though; it was enough. I agree with other reviews I've read below: the place seems abandoned. The Japanese pastry section is permanently closed.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always smiling! Thank you! The coffee was good, the black sesame cookie was original, but the chocolate flavor was a bit lacking. The place is calm, pleasant, and perfect for a break or working in peace. Please note: the menu photos and website on Google are outdated!

We randomly walked past this café and decided to stop for breakfast and I’m so glad we did! We ordered the tonkatsu and tamago sandos, and both were absolutely delicious. The staff were also very friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

A wonderful discovery for me at Maru Café with their bento boxes! The boxes are exactly as pictured, practically identical, which is a nice touch. You can even watch the person preparing them right in front of you. I was expecting the vegetables to be a bit bland, but not at all! The mushrooms, peppers, and eggplant are melt-in-your-mouth tender, well-marinated, and bursting with flavor! The rice is a little underwhelming, a bit dry and lacking in taste. The box is only 12 euros! And it's generous and truly full of flavor! I wasn't expecting much, and I wasn't disappointed at all ;) The dining area is upstairs, and there's plenty of seating. You can also get takeout. A great place to discover!
