Maru sur Montbeliard

I had their kimchi cheese croffle(a croissant waffle) and it was really good. The waiting time was short and there were many seats inside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here . We had the coffrels two of us chose the fried chicken and the other salmon with a delicious iced latte, cappuccino and a iced matcha. Very yummy!

The atmosphere is really pleasant, the drinks are very good, the iced latte has a good amount of coffee which makes it delicious, and the ube latte was very good.

We went in for the curry and savory croffles... but they hadn't been available for several months! The sign outside should be changed. Instead, we got bento boxes and sweet croffles. They were okay, but rather average compared to other places on Rue St. Anne. The service was decent and the dining room was quiet, which was a plus. We won't be going back, though; it was enough. I agree with other reviews I've read below: the place seems abandoned. The Japanese pastry section is permanently closed.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always smiling! Thank you! The coffee was good, the black sesame cookie was original, but the chocolate flavor was a bit lacking. The place is calm, pleasant, and perfect for a break or working in peace. Please note: the menu photos and website on Google are outdated!

We randomly walked past this café and decided to stop for breakfast and I’m so glad we did! We ordered the tonkatsu and tamago sandos, and both were absolutely delicious. The staff were also very friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

A wonderful discovery for me at Maru Café with their bento boxes! The boxes are exactly as pictured, practically identical, which is a nice touch. You can even watch the person preparing them right in front of you. I was expecting the vegetables to be a bit bland, but not at all! The mushrooms, peppers, and eggplant are melt-in-your-mouth tender, well-marinated, and bursting with flavor! The rice is a little underwhelming, a bit dry and lacking in taste. The box is only 12 euros! And it's generous and truly full of flavor! I wasn't expecting much, and I wasn't disappointed at all ;) The dining area is upstairs, and there's plenty of seating. You can also get takeout. A great place to discover!

I loved the concept, everything was great, I really recommend checking it out if you're ever in Paris.

Lovely setting, smiling and helpful staff. Good products. However, the Japanese tea master who cleans everything by hand with water, without any product, right in front of us, including used dishes (glasses, cups, plates, skewers), is shocking in terms of hygiene, especially since this is supposed to be a place that prioritizes quality and cleanliness, particularly for this neighborhood!

A truly wonderful place. A pleasant setting with quiet seating. Crafted and delicious dishes, and excellent service and a warm welcome. Thank you again, and see you very soon!
