We stumbled upon it because we were working on a construction site nearby. Excellent value for money at lunchtime (set menu: starter, main course, dessert €16). Perfect cocktail. Excellent Charentes oysters. And the famous "Fameux". A very good idea to open an artichoke and garnish it like this. Impeccable service. I highly recommend it.

Excellent restaurant. As a typical Brit with a family none of whom speak better than GCSE French, we've had quite a few poor service experiences in French restaurants over the years. This was different. Absolutely excellent meal, and great value, with impeccable service. We very much liked the fact that the staff either couldn't or were not prepared to speak English and we had to struggle on through in our poor French! And they didn't do this with a sour face, but were professional throughout. A couple of days after the meal I was splitting the bill with my sister and noticed that they'd given us a 50% discount on the dessert for my youngest daughter because she had wanted a full dessert (which she got) when she had only been entitled to a 'children's' dessert off the children's set menu. This was after they had explained that we would have to pay for this.

This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. A bit unsure, since we didn’t have a reservation, we walked in and were pleasantly surprised that a table was found for us and our two dogs ;) The service was phenomenal, provided (I believe) by the owner himself ;) The dishes were absolutely delicious. Our son enjoyed mussels that he said were excellent. The fish was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Great wine and Porto ;) And to finish, an original dessert! Our child received a necklace made of candy, and we truly spent a delightful time at this restaurant. This is not just an ordinary place – it’s a restaurant full of atmosphere and perfect cuisine!

Don't hesitate to go there, we ate well, the waiters are very kind and attentive. Try their specialty, the stuffed artichoke, delicious and generous 🤤. The only criticism we can make is that the room is noisy, people don't know how to speak softly, and it gets louder... And above all, remember to book 👍
