Good food and very friendly service.

The setting and food were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it. However, the staff were a bit unpleasant, the waiters weren't very friendly… they refused to heat up our baby's food… the microwave was going to trip the circuit breaker 🥴… very disappointed, especially during this heatwave…

We returned because we had such fond memories of our first dinner at this restaurant. What a disappointment! The service was nowhere near as good, and the food wasn't the same quality. Admittedly, we arrived very late—it was our stopover on our way to our holiday destination—but they do offer late reservations. Perhaps the service has declined, and that's a shame.

We went for Sunday brunch at Mathuzar. While some dishes were excellent, like the salmon, the flank steak cooked over an open flame, and the superb parmesan and truffle risotto, there was a lack of fresh salad, fruit, and cheese (only three options were offered). At €34 per person, it could have been better, but we had enough to fill our plates, and they were replenished regularly. The service was courteous, although we had to wait a good 30 minutes before we could order a cocktail (a young waiter was much more interested in chatting with his family than taking our order). The place is pleasant, however, fans in the conservatory would be welcome in this heat! In short, we had a pleasant time, but nothing more (no wow factor).

The food was quite refined, varied, and plentiful. The service was a bit slow, but the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere on the riverside terrace was very pleasant. The music was a little loud.

It's always a real pleasure to share a timeless moment at Mathuzar with friends or family! The dishes are always excellent and prepared with care! And the staff is always attentive, ensuring you have a pleasant experience! I highly recommend this restaurant.
