The food is excellent. The salads are generous, and the fries are homemade. The service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend it. Just 2 minutes from the train station. An excellent place to eat in Valence. Excellent value for money.

Great food and friendly staff. My wife is vegetarian and is very picky about her food. We both loved the authentic regional French good. We were the only Americans in the restaurant, good sign when the locals are eating there.

A well-located brasserie opposite the train station, convenient before or after your train. The food is quite good and the service attentive.

We went to this restaurant about three years ago and were quite disappointed. We tried it again today, thinking things might have improved, but no, the fries weren't great and the meat was very average. I think giving it the benefit of the doubt was very kind of us. Best of luck.

I don't usually like calf's liver, but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone. As a result, I thoroughly enjoyed the best calf's liver I've ever eaten.

We regularly frequent this restaurant and were always satisfied until our visit on Sunday, February 15, 2026. A waiter (a complete stranger until then) greeted us and asked what we wanted to drink (no drinks menu, that's a great start...). He brought us a wine he had chosen hastily without even knowing the price. Then we were given a small, scribbled slip of paper listing four dishes (apparently they had been completely sold out the day before for Valentine's Day, so there was no other choice). I asked for fries with my salmon, and he told me that fries were only available with salmon during the week, which was false... after the young manager confirmed it. So I resigned myself to vegetables (served in tiny portions). Unhappy, I went to see the manager and politely expressed my dissatisfaction. She offered to serve me fries. When the bill came for four meals at €17.50 each plus wine, we ended up paying €101.60 (the price of the wine? unknown... Free fries? we don't know, we weren't offered the bill...). The manager, rather closed to discussion, seemed quite displeased, although she tried to hide it. Very disappointed, we won't be going back, what a shame!
