06/09/2024: Impeccable welcome We had warned in advance that one of the people present could not eat lactose or gluten. The staff first explained to us all the dishes available without these intolerances. The chef had prepared 2 different types of gluten-free bread in advance. He also offered a macaron with poached fruit for dessert. Excellent ! The starters, main courses and desserts are elaborate and very good! Restaurant to do!
25/08/2024: Restaurant: terrace with beautiful mountain views and flowers, pleasant for dinner. Quality ingredients: both in vegetables, meats (such as entrecôte), bread (dense crumb characteristic of quality bread) and in dessert (for example the chocolate in the dessert I tried). To welcome us they gave us a small glass similar to gazpacho, with bread. The zucchini flower starter surprised me, I have never eaten it. I really like some details, like the fact that the potatoes in the entrecôte come crossed by a sprig of rosemary and it makes them very aromatic, that the green beans came rolled in a small slice of bacon, or the entrecôte itself had a block on top that gave it flavor. (I think it was herb butter). My partner for dessert ordered a tasting of 4 mini creme brulees of different flavors and it was original: vanilla, mint, anise and cinnamon. Price according to what you eat. The waitresses are very friendly, it seems to me that they are also with foreigners (as is my case). When I went to pay the bill one of them gave me a rose, I saw the women at other tables as well, I think it's an incredible detail towards the clientele. With the views at night (illuminated mountain) and the rose on the flower terrace, the atmosphere was romantic.

L'Ambroisie

27/09/2024: We were offered lunch in this restaurant that we did not know. We went there on a rainy day in September without really knowing what to expect. To make things more complicated, we only had an hour and twenty minutes for lunch, which, on a 5-course menu, can be complicated. The experience was excellent. The chef first organized himself to hold this lunch in the short time allotted. The dishes are prepared with great talent and touches of originality which give them a particular interest. The ingredients, mostly local, are perfectly chosen and beautifully combined. This chef could certainly have chosen to earn a better living by opening a tourist brasserie and serving steak fries or Cesar salads. But he did not choose this profession as a restaurateur by chance. He chose it out of passion and therefore opted for the difficulty of serving gourmet, demanding and even artistic cuisine. He can be extremely proud of the quality of the dishes offered. I am lucky to have been able to dine in many starred restaurants. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star. Well done Chef and keep it up!
