A truly wonderful experience. Having been to Ethiopia a long time ago, I rediscovered its authenticity. This was evident in the food, the service, and the atmosphere. And I found the prices to be quite reasonable. The added bonus was the coffee, roasted right in front of us, Ethiopian style. What's more, it was excellent coffee. A big thank you to Messob for this unique evening.

Excellent service, the staff are lovely. We had never eaten Ethiopian food before and they took the time to explain everything to us. The food was excellent and plentiful. I highly recommend it!

Great food and nice atmosphere! It was quite busy on a Saturday so I'd suggest to make a reservation. Prices are good and you eat a lot. They offer a vegetarian tasting menu. The only thing I’d like to point out is that there were three of us—two of us ordered the meat-based menu and one ordered the vegetarian menu—and everything was served on the same plate. Keep this in mind if you don’t want the vegetarian food to come into contact with the meat. Coffee was very good!

06/04/2026: Meh. Mixed feelings. I ordered a Mafé, and they served me a Yassa (I didn't say anything). The Yassa wasn't bad in itself, but it didn't taste like a Yassa. The starter (acradles) and dessert (coconut cake) were good, but nothing special. The decor was dated, and the tableware was a bit cheap; I can hardly recommend it. I find it rather sad in general that so many African restaurants are still somewhat amateurish, as is the case here; it's a cuisine that deserves better than that.
09/01/2026: The welcome is warm and attentive; you quickly feel at ease 😊. The African dishes are authentic, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented, with generous portions 🍛🔥. I particularly appreciated the balance of spices and the quality of the ingredients. The atmosphere is friendly and exotic, perfect for a meal with friends or family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨. A place to recommend without hesitation 👍.
