Mazats sur Vaureal

I usually order from this restaurant through Uber Eats, and the experience is always excellent: fast delivery, hot, tasty, and generous portions. So I decided to try the restaurant in person. The restaurant is truly lovely, the decor is tasteful, and the food is consistently delicious. However, I was a little less impressed with the service. We were the first to arrive and waited about half an hour before we were given a menu ourselves. The music was also quite loud, and with the crowd, it was sometimes difficult to hear each other. We also had to ask twice for a carafe of water, which finally arrived just as we were having dessert. I also found the portions a bit smaller than when I order delivery. Nevertheless, it's still a good place, with tasty food and a very pleasant setting. A few small improvements to the service would make the dining experience truly enjoyable.

Very good, well-seasoned. The owner and his family are very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and the service is quick. Update: I had noticed the change in quality for years and stopped going until one evening with friends, when I was pleasantly surprised by the improvement. But now, after three takeout orders, yesterday was the last straw. The chicken shawarma had large chunks of fat, half of which were burnt, and it was too salty. The hummus with shawarma was a joke; the hummus wasn't fresh, there were fewer than two large spoonfuls, and the meat was too salty. I didn't even try the kefta sandwich I ordered. A special mention to the young woman at the register who was very friendly. It's a shame the quality isn't consistent and, above all, that it's not consistent. Very disappointed. This will definitely be my last time.

Delicious food, very friendly service! I highly recommend it 🤩

Great experience, it's a nice change from what you usually see in a typical restaurant.

I had the opportunity to dine twice in this restaurant, but more than the dinner it is the excellence of the Sunday brunch that motivates the 5 stars: very varied, copious and very good value for money, I will gladly return.

Mazat's, Vauréal A shawarma that deserves its own fan club. The chicken is seasoned with almost suspicious precision—I checked, no one in the kitchen has superpowers, they're just incredibly talented. The Lebanese white wine: a superb discovery. It undoubtedly deserves a standing ovation. The terrace? It's simply wonderful. The staff is lovely, attentive, almost telepathic. And a Sunday brunch that seriously makes you rethink your life priorities. Lebanon has arrived in Vauréal. Thank you to them.

Discovered by chance after a film at the cinema next door. Very nice setting, smiling and warm welcome, excellent meal but high price (€60 for 2 for 2 beef skewers + 2 chicken skewers and some cold side dishes) even if it's fresh, it's in the suburbs not in the heart of Paris.

A restaurant just the way we like them! Delicious food, a warm atmosphere with a friendly and welcoming team. Highly recommended!

This is our second time at Mazats, this time with two young children. They really enjoyed it. We chose main courses instead of mezze and enjoyed them even more.

Very welcoming and kind, even to those who book very late! And above all, very good...
