A wonderful discovery! The welcome was impeccable. Jean Loïc was very attentive, warm, and a great listener. His advice was highly professional and perfectly tailored to my tastes. There's genuine expertise and a level of customer service that's rare these days. I recommend him without hesitation and will definitely be back!

Delightful little coffee shop with a few stools but mostly selling takeaway cups, beans, and accessories. Their distinctive good logo of the monkeys is charming and adorns some merch sold inside. We enjoyed two iced Americanos on a hot Paris day. It's a great stop for coffee on a lively street.

Very good coffee and the option of other things on the menu besides just coffee. It's a shame this location is so small (only two tables and two small counters, with no access to the courtyard), otherwise a nice place for a quick bite.

Delicious coffee, reasonably expensive trendy coffee, nice to sit somewhat sheltered at the little table on the bench on the street. Onlye took coffee.

The coffee is really delicious! I had a decaffeinated Americano, and it was so tasty with a nutty aroma that smelled like slightly roasted beans.

23/06/2026: I've been coming to Maximilien regularly for a little over a year now, and for me, it's one of the only restaurants in the area where the value for money is truly excellent. The portions are generous without being heavy, and the flavor is always spot-on. As for the main courses, I always go for their sautéed vegetables with garlic, which have that authentic taste you don't find everywhere. The ribeye steak is beautifully cooked, but my favorite is the lamb shank, served with couscous (your choice of sides), a welcome change from the usual fries. The staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Personally, I've never had a single complaint in over a year.
