As a daily commuter through Gare de l'Est, I was delighted to rediscover the Starbucks area after its renovations. - More seating - A pleasant and quiet floor - A welcoming team and quick service. Thank you to Julien for his smile and good humor. Finally, a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the train station.

Passing through Gare de l'Est, I treated myself to a refreshing Dragon Mango drink. Besides the delicious beverage, the team was fantastic: Mailys, Naserine, and Alexei at the bar, and Natalia, Charlie, and Lara at the till. Thank you again for making my very tiring day so much better 🫶.

28/05/2026: Great food and service at reasonable prices. We liked it so much we went back the next night.
20/05/2026: A small but very cute café near the Seine. The place is very picturesque and colorful. The owner is very friendly, and the coffee is good. We paid €5 for a coffee and a cappuccino to go. Great prices, especially for the area.

McDonald's

12/05/2026: This Saturday we went to this McDonald's for dinner with friends. We met up to order only to find the door closed, and there was only one self-service kiosk for about a hundred people. McDonald's advertises closing time as 2 AM, but they actually closed the restaurant at 1 AM. That evening, the manager even threatened customers in front of children, amidst the dissatisfaction of customers who had waited a long time. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Furthermore, I didn't even order anything. In short, McDonald's, train your staff!
06/05/2026: The service is fast and efficient, but the manager yelling at employees during service is not great.
