Good, but too expensive for what it is.

Standard mcdonalds. All good, clean toilet. 6 min off motorway on route to Calais. We stopped, got a quick bite, then drove 5 min to hellier service station to get fast ev charge. All in all, good.

When you get takeout, something is always missing. It's annoying.

Really hit-or-miss service. Sometimes it's hot, other times it's not. The managers are cold, they don't reflect the image of a manager. Some don't know how to say hello. It's the basic rule when managing a restaurant. A smile, politeness, it costs nothing. A manager must always be a role model for the employees; it's a basic rule of management. The burgers aren't always well-dressed. Yes, we're in a fast food restaurant, not a Michelin-starred restaurant, but hey... The trash cans are sometimes too full... but it also happens when there are only two tables in use. The staff in charge of the SAT are supposed to regularly clean the trash cans and the tables. This is something that's clearly not done. Otherwise, overall, it's decent.

Hello, I went to order Coca-Cola Zero on September 6, 2025, which tastes like dishwashing liquid.

I've been back since and I think a lot of things have improved, so well done. Also, today I showed my subscription to RCLens, and the young woman at the drive-thru didn't know about the offer, so she went to find out more. Very professional. Well done.

A good McDonald's in a small town

Meh, I've had much better McDonald's than this, and the service was much better. The Big Mac was practically empty, and the fries with bacon and cheddar were also tiny, as if they were cutting corners. Then we wanted to eat outside, but we had to go back inside immediately because a man was smoking on the patio near the children's play area. Honestly, eating with the smell of cigarettes in your face was really unpleasant. Then a server came by and didn't say a word, as if it was perfectly normal to smoke in the play area and near the tables where everyone else was eating. So, I'd describe this McDonald's as a last resort; it's okay.
