It's still McDonald's and the staff aren't great.

Review update - December 2025: Service in 20 minutes, hot potatoes, almost cold fries, cheese not melted but ordered complete and without error (on-site). And all this despite being very busy. Trash management is still complicated, both inside and outside (risk of slipping) and also in the parking lot below. Upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars. Good quarter, improving but could do better. Review posted late August 2025: Disaster tonight at the Châteaulin McDonald's... ⚠️ Two orders mixed up on different trays. The server admitted it. We had to sort it out with the other customers 😱 Once the puzzle was pieced together, we realized several fries and one Happy Meal were missing... And the sauces, and the napkins?! Tell us where the hidden camera is 😂 Luckily it wasn't very crowded... What would it have been like otherwise? And that's not even mentioning the lack of cleanliness in the dining area, the tables, the toilets, and the overflowing trash cans. The whole restaurant is running at a snail's pace and nobody seems to care... Last visit to McDonald's Châteaulin, and it certainly doesn't encourage us to go to another McDonald's. Burger King has a bright future ahead. Good luck to the next customers 🤔 PS: The only redeeming feature of this restaurant is its games. PS2: There's no point in replying that you're sorry and that you'll pass the issues on to the team because the comments have been the same for months and nothing changes... Stop treating your customers like they're naive.

Spacious, clean, airy, fast service, very welcoming, best filet-o-fish eaten in years in France (I'm a truck driver, I've tried many), good alignment of fillings in the sandwiches, consideration for the customer.

I don't know what's going on with this particular McDonald's, but something's missing from almost all my takeout orders. It's ridiculous to have to check every bag before leaving. Tonight, I got ripped off on two boxes of cheddar fries (€9, no less!). I was in a rush to leave because I had three kids at the drive-thru, so I didn't check my order. Bingo, ANOTHER order error. It's infuriating.

We've ordered Click and Collect several times and once again the toy isn't in the Happy Meal. Are we really supposed to check our orders? When we get takeout, it's often so it's quick... it's tiring!

Fast food, finally fast... Often there's a long wait between ordering and being served. And once again, the ice cream machine isn't working.
