McDonald's sur La Sauve

A McDonald's like so many others, but it's hard to find a clean table.

As I regularly travel through the Entre-deux-Mers region, this McDonald's in La Sauve is my go-to stop because it's so easy to get to from the main road. You can't miss it when passing through Petit Greley; the large sign is visible from afar. Upon arrival, the large parking lot is incredibly convenient and allows you to park without circling around, even during the lunchtime rush hour. I also noticed that the maintenance team does a great job: the surrounding area and the parking lot are clean, with no overflowing trash cans. It's also a restaurant well-designed for accessibility for people with reduced mobility, with dedicated spaces and ramps adapted for wheelchairs. When I don't feel like going downstairs, the McDrive lane is wide and well-organized, which avoids bottlenecks when it's busy. Inside, I really want to commend the staff: the service at the counter is friendly and polite, which is far from the norm in all fast-food restaurants! To order, there are plenty of self-service kiosks so you don't have to wait in a long line. The staff really come through during busy periods, whether it's taking orders quickly at the drive-thru or serving at your table. It's also really nice to see the staff bring your tray with a smile while you settle in comfortably. The wait time is quite reasonable; the kitchen team works well, even on Wednesdays and weekends. When I'm in a real hurry, I use the Click & Collect app, and the staff handles it perfectly; my order is always ready when I arrive. It's rare for a fast-food restaurant, but I have to emphasize the team's professionalism: I've never had a sauce or sandwich left in my bag. When eating in, I also notice that the food is served piping hot, and the cheese on the burgers is perfectly melted. Even when ordering takeout, the team packs everything well, keeping the meal at a good temperature until you get home. The cooks take care with the presentation: the burgers look presentable and aren't completely squashed. As for sides, the fries and potato wedges are served crispy, well-seasoned, and fresh from the fryer, not reheated. All the chain's classics are available, and the staff quickly introduces the latest additions. I appreciate having the choice of vegetarian options or salads when I want something a little lighter. The McCafé corner is also a real plus, perfect for ordering a delicious dessert or a proper coffee made by the staff. The dining area is pleasant, simply because it has large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The waitstaff is hard at work: they regularly clean the tables and floors between customers, keeping everything spotless. The food is comfortable, the chairs and benches are modern and in good condition. The atmosphere remains that of a family-friendly McDonald's; the noise level is normal, and you can easily hear yourself think. A big thumbs up for the cleaning staff: the restrooms are clean and well-stocked with soap, which is essential. It's truly the perfect spot in the Créon area for families, with outdoor play areas and a birthday party space for kids. In terms of price, the value for money is in line with current fast-food standards. Finally, I often ask to have an ingredient removed from my burger, and the kitchen staff always respect my request to the letter. In short, my overall impression is very positive: it's an efficient, well-maintained McDonald's, and above all, staffed by hardworking and friendly people! Visited May 2, 2026 at 5:42 PM

Passing through the area for work, feeling a bit peckish, I stopped at this McDonald's. No complaints from my end, friendly service and a decent order.

I would like to thank Pierre, the assistant manager of the McDonald's in Créon, for his honesty. I left my purse at McDonald's on March 21, 2026, and when I returned four hours later, I was pleasantly surprised to find it there. Thank you again!
