For over a year now, I've been told, "No, we can't serve you a milkshake because the machine is broken!" It's a disgrace, especially coming from a franchise with such a big budget. They can't afford to replace the milkshake machine?! Well, no, it costs too much! 🤣🤣

The thing that disappointed me the most? That day, October 14, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., I ordered a double fish maxi meal. Everything seemed promising: a generous hamburger with two perfectly cooked and delicious fish, accompanied by a Coke Zero in a huge glass—nothing to complain about.
Then, I decided to try the cheese fries. The box looked like a feast.
And then, the surprise: only the bottom of the box was filled, about a third, with the other two-thirds remaining desperately empty.
Imagine: a "maxi" meal, a real hunger, and receiving what looked like an appetizer.
When I went to the counter, polite and calm, the staff, while friendly, simply explained: "Sorry. That's how we fill them."
Seriously? For a maxi meal, a little more generosity wouldn't hurt. This disappointment really affected me.
Well, let me tell you something. If, at that moment, the employee had looked me in the eye and discreetly said, "Come on, give me your box, I'll fill it up a little more," just for me, without anyone else seeing, that small, thoughtful gesture alone would have changed everything. I guarantee you that this simple act would have been enough to earn them two stars and make me give this McDonald's five.
But instead... nothing. Not even a little extra to fill the box a bit more. As if losing a few fries would bankrupt the restaurant, as if the world would end. This gesture would have been discreet, almost invisible to the other customers, but would have transformed my experience into a positive and generous memory. And instead, I'm left with this feeling: three stars, because that little something that could have changed everything... never happened.
Otherwise, the McDonald's remains decent and functional:
• Size and cleanliness: adequate, no complaints.
• Temperature: always a bit chilly inside, a surprisingly cool breeze on the back of the neck.
• Location: ideal, right across from my favorite Chinese restaurant.
• Parking: small on the shop side, but a large parking lot directly across the street, convenient.
• Entrance/signage/comfort: entrance was fine, no particular issues.
• Reception and staff: quite good, the staff was welcoming that day.
• Minor inconvenience: the new system for accessing the restrooms with a 4-digit code can be surprising the first time, but it was handled politely by an employee and another customer.
• Behavior: no problems, everything went smoothly.
In the end, the fish menu is always enjoyable, the staff is friendly, and the setting is decent... but this experience with the undersized fries leads me to give it 3 stars instead of 5. It's not a disaster, just a one-off disappointment.
That day, upon entering McDonald's, I paused for a moment. Mmm... it smelled so good. So good. The air was a subtle blend of fried food, sauces, and warm bread. It was almost a ballet of aromas, each telling a story, awakening memories and ideas yet to be imagined. Every time I walk through that door, I feel my appetite awaken, but not just the stomach's: the desire to explore, to taste, to savor... and even to dream a little. The smell speaks to me, and I listen.
P.S.: But as far as fries with cheese sauce are concerned, that's over. I won't be fooled by a half-empty box again: I won't be ordering a maxi meal with fries, and I strongly advise anyone against doing so when they're hungry. With only a third of the box filled, you'd have to buy three meals to get a full portion, which would bring the bill to over thirty euros for a properly filled box. It was a truly disappointing experience, and one that will remain etched in my memory as a stark reminder: even in a place that smells so good and promises pleasure and deliciousness, you have to maintain your standards and know when to say no.
