McDonald's sur Chateaubriant

Cleanliness needs improvement; the toilets are very dirty with cobwebs and questionable walls.

A stop on the way to our holiday destination. Coffee and desserts. Good atmosphere!

An exemplary McDonald's. Due to the holidays, it was less busy, but everything was perfect.

Takeaway order: fries and hamburgers barely lukewarm. The CBO hamburger was dry and I'm still looking for the sauce. Disappointed.

It was clean and quick... and hot. Not the case at all McDonald's.

July 2026: Significant improvement in cleanliness (especially the restrooms). Keep it up! 👏 December 2024: It's improved a little... October 2023: We arrived a little before 7 pm on a Friday evening, but it wasn't crowded, yet the restrooms were already dirty and there were no more paper towels. To place our order at the kiosks, we searched in vain for the easels. I asked a hostess, who told me they were near the registers (makes sense, right?). We finally managed to place our order without the easels, even though there were boxes of them at the registers, which was strange... where did the old plastic easels go? Once the order was placed, we saw a single hostess wandering around the entire restaurant trying to find the person to give it to (well, they must have been good for something!). Then, since the poor hostess was alone in the dining room, she didn't have time to empty the bins, which were full when we arrived and still were when we left. As a result, we couldn't even clear our table—there wasn't enough room in the bins! That's what everyone does, and so all the tables remain cluttered and dirty. She also didn't have time to pick up the two fries that had fallen near the children's play area. I picked them up myself to prevent someone from falling or a child from finding them in their socks! In short, the recent renovations haven't improved anything at this restaurant; we won't be going back anytime soon!

I was given a cappuccino that unfortunately tasted like water. I was asked to have it remade, and a super nice manager made it again with real milk foam! Even though he wasn't on duty, thank you so much to him.

I went to the drive-thru this evening, Saturday, May 30, 2026, around midnight. The attendant at the kiosk was very friendly, as was the person handing over the order; it's quite pleasant to encounter such nice and smiling people.

I was going to give it 5 stars, until I got a lecture because I dared to ask for the sauce I'd paid for but which wasn't on my tray... Apparently, the manager said he'd put all the sauces on... unless I'm blind, there was nothing on my tray except my son's ketchup. They should have checked, but no, I got a lecture when they finally gave me the sauce... Anyway, I'll go to a competitor now if I'm going to be indirectly accused of stealing sauce. ✋️
