McDonald's sur Saintes

We like to come to McDonald's from time to time. We go less often, though, because the prices have gone up this past year. The fruit is often unripe, but overall it's still good. It's always hot and the service is decent. No music.

The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was cool, the meal was very good. And the restaurant was clean!

It's McDonald's, what else can you say?!

I ordered today, and instead of two Cokes, I received two Fantas and my chocolate-topped McFlurry was empty. Given the price of the meals, it would be nice to have an order without errors.

They didn't want to offer, but they didn't know I'd been to a lot of stores, no big deal.

If you are looking for a fast food restaurant give this one a miss. We visited just after heavy snowfall the previous day. The car park, entrance and exit were covered in snow still. It was a struggle to get in and out of the car park. Cars were sliding all over the place. The restaurant itself was nice and clean. I believe in my experience (I only visit these chains if absolutely a neccessity), since the introduction of touch screen orders, it seems to have slowed the system down. It was a very busy night and people were queueing to use the touch screens to order because people dither about choosing what they want, scrolling through i dont know how many screens, trying to find what they want. Then you can pay at the screen or go to the till point to pay cash. That's the first hold up. Then the wait for food was at least 20 minutes. I had ordered a veggie burger and a chicken burger with fries and one drink. When we got it back to the hotel my veggie burger whilst being wrapped correctly wasn't a veggie burger, it was chicken! Not sure if they had wrapped my husbands in my wrapper as he had devoured it already. Said it tasted exactly the same as mine though, pretty tasteless. It may have just been an exceptionally busy night. I couldn't take burger back, as we had already got stuck in the snow once and didn't want to chance it again. Service slow, but happy friendly staff, considering the circumstances they were working in. At least they had battled to get to work in the snow I guess.

Very pleasantly surprised. It was busy with people returning from vacation, but the organization was perfect and efficient. Four of us were served in 5 minutes. Perfect. The staff was very friendly.

I've been eating at this establishment (takeout) for years, and I've very rarely been disappointed. There's a wide selection, and the service is excellent. However, I have occasionally experienced some issues (digestion?) while eating your food. Nevertheless, this establishment deserves to be supported.

Fast service today. Hard cheese in the sandwich.
